EPIC RESEARCH NCDEX TURMERIC UPDATE OF 24 JANUARY 2017

Turmeric trading range for the day is 6916-7148. Turmeric prices ended with gains amid fears of fall in output in Tamil Nadu. However upside seen limited thanks to reports of higher output. India exported about 51,147-ton turmeric during Apr-Aug 2016-17 up by 32% on year, as per the data released by commerce ministry. In Nizamabad, a major spot market in AP, the price ended at 7434.2 rupees gained 109.2 rupees.
