EPIC RESEARCH NCDEX COTTON UPDATE OF 28 FEBRUARY 2018

Cotton trading range for the day is 20223-20683.Cotton prices dropped tracking weakness in spot demand amid rise in arrivals. India's cotton arrivals until now during the current season 2017-18 (Oct-Sep) registered a growth of 10.2% at 22.31 million bales of 170 each. Cotton Association of India has lowered its estimate of the cotton crop for the ongoing season by 8 lakh bales due to pink bollworm attack in major producing.Cotton prices in spot market gained by 150.00 rupees and settled at 19730.00 rupees.
